| The five of us (Mary, Dennis, Fran, and Ellen) left for Mérida bright and early on February 20th. We headed south for Carnaval(what we call here in the United States), Mardi Gras. Unlike here and in Brazil, Mérida's celebration is a bit milder and is centered around five parades. Our purpose was to distribute 35,000 tracts and with the help of the members of Calvary Chapel Mérida, seek the "lost" to the Glory of God. |
