| Todd observed, "We had, at the respective churches, simultaneous "pot lucks" after church, and Larry probably had the advantage there as Baptists have been perfecting this procedure for years. We, at Chenku, had fried chicken (on my direction) as a main course so I wouldn't have to covet the good ol' Baptist pot luck. "Afterwards, still in simultaneous mode, we went to parks near each church and had a clown, puppet, face painting, and candy festival in the afternoon that went until we started a projection of the Jesus film (yes, simultaneously)." These two "clowns" were at a park not too far from the new Chenku church under construction. Pictures of that church can be seen in the previous mission trip photos. |
