We finally got our second large van which had seen better days. However, the air conditioning was cold. Went to Wal-Mart in Cancun then drove to Valladolid. In Valladolid, we stayed at a quaint hotel, called Hotel Zaci. From the front, it is not too impressive of a place. From the back, it was worse. However, once you stepped into the courtyard, this place would rival any decent hotel in America. All the missionaries fell in love with this place. This was also where we spent our first three nights in Mexico. The a/c was cold and each room had a ceiling fan to help blow the cold air around; so much so that eye glasses and Dennis' camera lens would fog when taken outside into the humid tropical air. Also, Dennis and Cory said they got the temperature down to 64°F in their room. In this picture, the dark sky was due to the thunderstorm we drove through, though most of it had dissipated.
